Courier Recruitment Rules & Cooperation Terms
Welcome to the onboarding process for becoming a courier/driver on Oninfinite Oy ('Oninfinite', 'we', 'us'), a company registered in Finland. Please read this page carefully before signing up. By completing the registration process, you confirm that you accept these terms.
1. Basic Eligibility
To work as a courier/driver, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (age is verified during onboarding)
- Have a valid mobile phone number that can be verified via a one-time code (OTP)
- Provide valid government identification
- Hold a valid driving licence with the category required for your selected vehicle type, where applicable
- Meet any right-to-work / self-employment / business registration requirements applicable in your jurisdiction
2. Registration Steps
Enter through 'Become a Courier' — a separate entry path from customer sign-up — then complete base authentication (Google, Email + OTP, or Phone + OTP), phone verification, and mandatory profile completion before proceeding into the courier-specific application flow. If you're already registered as a customer, you can apply to become a courier from within the app — your account role stays 'Customer' until your application is approved.
3. Vehicle Type Selection
At the start of the application, you select one vehicle type. This choice determines every downstream document and requirement:
- Bicycle
- Motorbike / Scooter
- Motorbike + Delivery Box
- Car
- Car + Trailer
- Van / Small Truck (over 3.5t)
- Large Truck
- Truck + Trailer
4. Documents Required for Every Vehicle Type
Regardless of vehicle type, all applicants must provide:
- A valid government-issued ID (clear scan/photo)
- Date of birth (for age verification)
- A profile photo (used for in-app identification during delivery)
- A verified phone number (carried over from authentication)
- An email address (collected at this step if not already provided)
- Where required by local law: proof of right to work / self-employment status
5. Vehicle-Specific Documents
- Bicycle — declaration of bicycle ownership/use, bicycle type (standard/e-bike), safety equipment declaration; no driving licence or vehicle documents required; a safety test may be required depending on market
- Motorbike / Scooter — driving licence matching engine size, vehicle registration certificate, motor insurance, registration/make/model, inspection status where applicable, safety equipment declaration
- Motorbike + Delivery Box — everything for Motorbike, plus delivery-box dimensions/weight, secure mounting confirmation, maximum permitted load
- Car — driving licence category B (up to 3,500 kg), registration certificate, insurance, registration number, vehicle inspection, maximum authorised mass, ownership/permission-to-use declaration
- Car + Trailer — driving licence category matching combined mass (B, B/96, or BE), car and trailer registration, insurance covering the combination, separate mass values for car and trailer
- Van / Small Truck (over 3.5t) — driving licence category C1 or C, professional driver competence certificate, registration/insurance/inspection, maximum authorised mass, goods transport licence where required
- Large Truck — driving licence category C, professional competence qualification, ID/passport, registration/insurance/inspection, goods transport licence/operator details, driver card / tachograph info where applicable
- Truck + Trailer — driving licence category CE, all Large Truck requirements, truck and trailer registration, goods transport licence/operator details
6. Licence Category Reference
For Car + Trailer, the required licence category is calculated from combined maximum authorised mass (car + trailer): up to 3,500 kg needs category B, up to 4,250 kg needs B/96, above that needs BE. General reference:
- B — vehicles up to 3,500 kg
- B/96 — car + trailer combination up to 4,250 kg
- BE — car + trailer, trailer up to 3,500 kg
- C1 — over 3,500 up to 7,500 kg
- C — over 7,500 kg
- CE — C-category combinations with trailer over 750 kg
7. Delivery Assistant (Optional)
For vehicle types where a second person may legitimately ride along (Car, Car + Trailer, Van/Small Truck, Large Truck, Truck + Trailer), you may optionally declare one or more assistants. Not applicable to Bicycle, Motorbike, and Motorbike + Delivery Box.
- An assistant does not receive a platform account or app login — they are not a platform user
- This information is captured for liability, insurance compliance, and identification purposes only
- Assistant records require full name, valid government ID, date of birth, and declared relationship to you
- Assistant documents go through the same review process as your own
8. Document Review Process
Once all required documents are uploaded, your application enters a review queue. The review team checks document validity and expiry dates, licence category vs. vehicle/mass requirements, and photo-to-ID match. Typical review turnaround time is 2–3 business days from submission of a complete application.
- Approved — your account is elevated to courier status and you're notified by email
- Rejected — a reason is recorded and sent to you by email
- Resubmission requested — only the flagged document(s) need to be re-uploaded, not the entire application
9. Operational Status
Once approved, you can toggle between 'Online' and 'Offline' — you only receive delivery requests while Online. Only one active delivery at a time is allowed. If any of your documents expire, or your account is suspended by an admin, you will not be able to go Online, and a clear status message will explain why. Operational suspension is independent of your overall account status — for example, if you also use the platform as a customer, that side of your account remains unaffected.
10. Document Expiry & Renewal
Every document has an expiry date. You'll receive a renewal reminder 30 days before any document expires. If a document expires without renewal, your operational status automatically moves to 'suspended — document expired' until it's renewed.
11. Earnings & Commission
The platform deducts a fixed commission percentage from every completed order: Courier Earning = Order Price × (1 − Commission %). The commission percentage is a configurable platform-wide parameter, but any change only applies to orders completed after the change — earnings already accrued are never affected retroactively. Earnings are added to your account only once an order reaches 'Completed' status. A cancelled or refunded order generally does not generate courier earnings — except if the order is cancelled or refunded after you have already picked up the shipment, in which case you retain the full earning since the work was already performed.
12. Weekly Settlement
Payouts are processed weekly, based on a fixed settlement window. You can choose one of the following payout methods: manual bank transfer (reviewed and processed manually by the finance team) or Stripe Connect (automatic transfer once you complete Stripe's own onboarding process). Changing your payout method takes effect from the next settlement cycle onward, not retroactively.
13. Cancellation by Courier
Once you've accepted an order, you cannot simply cancel it — you must submit a cancellation request, which the system/support team resolves depending on the order's stage, either reassigning it or escalating to an admin. Completed deliveries cannot be cancelled. Unusual cancellation patterns may be reviewed and could result in disciplinary action.
14. Suspension & Termination
Your courier account may be suspended or terminated in cases such as an expired document that has not been renewed (temporary, until renewed), an admin decision based on performance review, complaints, or a breach of these terms, or rejection during the application review process. If your application is rejected, you may reapply once you have addressed the reason stated in your rejection notice — there is no mandatory waiting period unless your rejection notice states otherwise.
15. Location Privacy While Active
Your location is only tracked and shared while you are Online or have an active delivery in progress — never while Offline. Your live location is only visible to the customer of your current active order, never to other customers. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continuing to use the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
